Bob has competed and trained in Europe since 2005 and has enjoyed the level of competition available in all Western Disciplines, he has had success in Reining, Trail, Western Pleasure and Western Riding. He has also had the opportunity to work with some of the best trainers in Europe including Julien Andre, Cecile Mahe, Andre Vanderheyden, Gregory Legrand, Chris Reichter and Bernard Fonck. He has also had the honour of working with Chris Cox, one of the greatest horseman of our time. This has given him an insight into the technicalities of high level competition, as well as a high degree of horsemanship. His greatest passion is producing calm responsive horses for all eventualities in the real world, not only for the show pen.
Bob Reader has been living in Ireland for 2016 and 2017. In the Spring of 2018 he returned to Gloucestershire, for lessons and clinics and to supporting people with their horsemanship His facebook group page will have the latest dates and activities.
